Instructions for Ponce music system 120227
ONKYO receiver - SONY TV - PANASONIC DVD/VCR player/recorder - DENON CD changer
with BOZAK main speakers, ENERGY center speaker, and MIRAGE surround speakers
To watch TV:
- Turn on ONKYO receiver by pressing yellow receiver button on [top left corner of] ONKYO remote
- Select TV/CD [function] on ONKYO receiver or ONKYO remote
- Turn on SONY TV by pressing green power button on [top right corner of] SONY remote; green light appears on
bottom left of screen; watch for blue screen
- Press Input button on [top left corner of] SONY remote
- Press up/down arrow on joystick SONY remote to select TV [input] and press center button (+) to set
- Choose channel by pressing channel number, example: 26 [CNN]
- Adjust volume up/down by pressing Vol +/- in ONKYO remote or turning volume knob in ONKYO receiver
- When finished watching TV, turn off SONY TV by pressing green power button on SONY remote
- Turn off ONKYO receiver by pressing yellow receiver button on [top left corner of] ONKYO remote (optional, to conserve energy).
To watch DVD:
- Turn on ONKYO receiver by pressing yellow receiver button on [top left corner of] ONKYO remote
- Select DVD/VCR [function] on ONKYO receiver or ONKYO remote
- Turn on SONY TV by pressing green power button on [top right corner of] SONY remote; green light appears on
bottom left of screen; watch for blue screen
- Press Input button on [top left corner of] SONY remote
- Press up/down arrow on SONY remote to select Video 1 [input] and press center button (+) to set
- Turn on PANASONIC DVD/VCR by pressing red power button on [top left corner of] PANASONIC remote [HELLO appears]
- Press Open/Close button of DVD [on right of player] to load DVD, and close [DVD indicator light turns on]
- Press Play on PANASONIC remote to start
- Adjust volume up/down by pressing Vol +/- in ONKYO remote or turning volume knob in ONKYO receiver
- When finished, press Stop button on PANASONIC remote, and remove DVD [by pressing Open/Close button]
- Turn off DVD player by pressing red power button on PANASONIC remote
- Turn off ONKYO receiver (optional, to conserve energy).
To watch VCR:
- Turn on ONKYO receiver by pressing yellow receiver button on [top left corner of] ONKYO remote
- Select DVD/VCR [function] on ONKYO receiver or ONKYO remote
- Turn on SONY TV by pressing green power button on [top right corner of] SONY remote; green light appears on
bottom left of screen; watch for blue screen
- Press Input button on [top left corner of] SONY remote
- Press up/down arrow on SONY remote to select Video1 [input] and press center button (+) to set
- Turn on PANASONIC DVD/VCR by pressing red power button on [top left corner of] PANASONIC remote [HELLO appears]
- Load VCR tape if free; else first press Eject and remove old tape [VCR indicator light turns on]
- VCR plays automatically [Press play on PANASONIC remote to play VCR]
- Adjust volume up/down by pressing Vol +/- in ONKYO remote or turning volume knob in ONKYO receiver
- When finished, press Stop button on PANASONIC remote
- Turn off VCR player by pressing red power button on PANASONIC remote
- Turn off ONKYO receiver (optional, to conserve energy).
To listen to CD:
- Turn on ONKYO receiver by pressing yellow receiver button on [top left corner of] ONKYO remote
- Select CD labeled function [GAME] on ONKYO receiver or ONKYO remote
- Turn on DENON CD player by pressing black power button on [center left of] DENON player
- Press Open/Close button on top right corner of DENON remote
- Load up to five CDs; rotate carrousel by pressing Disk Skip button [on remote or console] while loading
- Press Close on DENON remote
- Press Play on DENON remote or player to play CDs
- Change song by pressing song number on DENON remote
- Change to next CD by pressing Disc Skip +/- on DENON remote
- Adjust volume up/down by pressing Vol +/- in ONKYO remote or turning volume knob in ONKYO receiver
- When finished, press Stop button on DENON remote or player
- Turn off CD player by pressing black power button on [center left corner of] DENON remote
- Turn off ONKYO receiver (optional, to conserve energy).
