Problem 1-2

Using Eq. 1-3: Q = 15 - 13 = 2 in. The mean annual runoff is:

Q = [ (2 in/y) • (60-mi2) • (5280 ft/mi)2 ] / [ (12 in/ft) • (365 d/y) • (86,400 s/d)] = 8.84 ft3/s.  ANSWER.
