GRADING POLICY

Two Term Papers (A and B) (40%), Midterm (30%), Final Exam (30%).

Attendance and class participation will earn a bonus of 1/3 letter grade (Example: B+ raised to A-).


TERM PAPERS

Term Paper A will be due on 161021 (Week 8); Term Paper B on 161209 (Week 15).
Book A to be chosen by 160923 (Week 4); Book B by 161104 (Week 10).

Each term paper will be an essay consisting of analysis, critique and/or commentary of a book chosen from a Selected List. Use appropriate grammar and spelling.

Term papers to be double-spaced, no title page, Arial 12-point font size, two (2) complete pages, stapled on the top-left corner. The paper should be written in your own words.
