Outputs of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere

They can be biological, geological, or anthropogenic.

Biological outputs are mediated by the photosynthesis [of green plants].

Geological outputs are the net result of oceanic-atmospheric interactions [the ocean is serving as a sink for carbon].

Anthropogenic outputs is through fossil-fuel energy conservation [reduction of input].

Recent regulations require that by 2025, the U.S. fleet will have a fuel efficiency of 54.5 miles per gallon.

Also, anthropogenic outputs are through the conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems, which amount to permanent increases in the carbon sink, and are, therefore, the exact opposite of PIAC.
